Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is an amusement park that houses an amazing aquarium. It is located on a small island to the south of downtown Yokohama and can be reached by a 30-minute train ride. There is no admission required to enter the park area where there are shops, restaurants, and promenades. The only fees incurred are when you want to enter Aqua Resorts and the rides of Pleasure Land. Aqua Resorts is an area that consists of three buildings, which are Aqua Museum, Dolphin Fantasy and Fureai Lagoon. Aqua Museum is a conventional aquarium where you can see walruses, dolphins, sea lions, seals, polar bears, whale sharks, and many more. Dolphin Fantasy has an arched tunnel where you can see the marine life swim around. Fureai Lagoon allows you the chance to interact and touch the animals. Pleasure Land is an amusement park with rides for all ages.
