Along the shores of Lake Kawaguchi are many hotels and ryokans available with outdoor and indoor hot spring baths. Some of the hot spring baths have views of Mount Fuji on days that are clear. Hotel Mifujien is the only facility on the northeastern shore of Kawaguchi that opens its baths to non-staying guests. It has gender separated bathing facilities with views of Mount Fuji. Tensui Kawaguchiko is a public bath house located in the forest above the Kubota Itchiku Art Museum. It has three large outdoor baths and indoor baths available as well as a gender separated saunas. The Kaiun no Yu is part of Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko, which is located on the southern shore of the Lake Kawaguchi. The Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is a luxurious ryokan with onsens that have great views of Mount Fuji. It is designed to look like an old Japanese castle with grandiose architecture.
