Kobe Harborland is an entertainment and shopping district. The largest shopping complex in Kobe Harborland is Umie, which can be broken down into three parts: Mosaic, South Mall, and North Mall. Both South Mall and North Mall are enclosed shopping areas that feature department stores and numerous small shops. Mosaic on the other hand mostly out in the open and stretches along the waterfront. Many of the restaurants on Mosaic have great views of the Kobe Port Tower and Kobe Maritime Museum. The Ferris Wheel and Anpanman Museum can be found at the southern end of Mosaic. At the heart of Kobe Harborland is the Gaslight Street, where at night the old-fashioned gas street lamps and electric lights are lit up. It makes for a nice place to take a stroll at night.
