Shikisai Hill

Panorama Road is also known for Hill of Shikisai. Hill of Shikisai is a flower garden with over seven dozen varieties of flowers, which are lined up separately. It encompasses seven hectares of flowers, which look like a rainbow. The name Shikisai uses the kanji for four seasons and coloring. The Shikisai-no-oka Norokko (tractor bus) is a very popular ride that takes a slow route through the most impressive course in the vast Shikisai- no-oka Park. During the ride, you can enjoy the rich fragrance of flowers and spectacular views of the hills, Mt. Daisetsu, and the flower garden. The tractor bus stops once during the ride for taking photographs against a background of breathtaking flowers. Shikisai hill can still be enjoyed in winter when the snow turns the flower garden into Snowland. Snowland is designed so that even first time visitors can enjoy the snow and nature while riding snow rafts, snowmobiles and other such vehicles. Snowmobiles are exhilarating vehicles that are easily operated even by beginners to provide exciting runs through vast snow fields while enjoying the snow and nature.
