This tour includes not one but four of these unforgettable winter events, including the wildly popular Sapporo Snow Festival. This famous Hokkaido festival features massive, unbelieveably detailed creations made entirely of ice and snow. The other three festivals - the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival, Ashikawa Snow Festival, and the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival - are each spectacular in their own unique way. Many other attractions on this tour also take full advantage of the winter season, including visiting the curious snow monkeys, ice fishing at Lake Akan, and an icebreaker cruise off the coast of Abashiri.
