One of our most popular tours with an added twist, this tour takes you to the must-see sites of Tokyo, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji, and Hiroshima as well as a few seasonal specialties that you can't miss when you visit Japan in Winter. The first of these is the Kawazu Cherry Blossoms. Kawazu Cherry Blossoms are an early flowering variety of cherry tree. The trees usually start opening around the beginning of February. It has a different feature from other cherry blossoms, with larger petals and pinker color. The next seasonal highlight of this tour is the Snow Monkey Park where you can see wild monkeys behaving very human-like. These monkeys have taken quite a liking to the local hot springs and so had land designated for their use which includes a hot spring pool. While the monkeys are famous for being photographed during the winter, they can be seen in the park all year round.

In addition to the winter attractions, this tour also features popular cultural activities like experience a green tea ceremony and a meet-and-greet with a maiko – an apprentice geisha, learn how to make sushi with a professional sushi chef, enjoying genuine Japanese cuisine banquets and traditional Onsen baths, visiting the famous Kiyomizu Temple and Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji Temple) in Kyoto as well as Todaiji Temple and deer park in Nara, exploring Kenrokuen Garden, and " Black Crow"' Castle in Matsumoto. Takayama, located amongst the Japanese Alps. Due to their remote location, these places are beautifully preserved and developed their own culture as a result, making it unique from the rest of Japan. Visit the charming village of Shirakawa-go and understand what gassho-zukuri architectural style through your own eyes. You'll also have a chance to visit the beautiful city of Kanazawa, which is often overlooked by Western tourists. Here, you'll visit the Kenrokuen Garden (one of Japan's top three gardens) and see what six attributes make a perfect landscape.

Tour the remarkable Himeji Castle and the photogenic canal town of Kurashiki. Continue to Hiroshima to visit the Peace Memorial Museum and Park, then head to Miyajima Island and take in views of the distinguished torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine. At high tide, the vermillion-colored gate appears to "float" on top of the sea. Then, drive through the Shimanami Kaido, a 60 kilometer long toll road that connects Japan's main island of Honshu to the island of Shikoku, passing over six small islands in the Seto Inland Sea.

On the Shikoku Island, take a trip to the Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu, climb 1,368 stone steps to the Kompirasan Shrine, enjoy a leisurely boat ride, and reflect on panoramic views of the Oboke Gorge. Our group will also have the chance to savor the world- famous Wagyu beef in Kobe. Please note that if you feel like you don't want to climb the steps to Konpirasan, there are activities to do at the base: Sweets stores and craft shops, ice cream and udon making, and shops to taste delicious sake. This itinerary is perfect for those who want to visit the renowned regions of Japan.
