Tokyo (Tsukiji Outer Fish Market Tour / Sushi Making & Lunch / Meiji Shrine / Harajuku - Takeshita District & Omotesando)

After breakfast, make your way to the Tsukiji Outer Market, filled with shops and restaurants where you can try fresh produce and other food-related goods. Next, learn how to create your own sushi with a professional sushi chef. Whatever you make, you will get to eat for lunch! Note: For Sushi Making Experience, if you are a vegetarian, on a gluten-free diet, have a seafood allergy, or don't eat raw fish, please contact us for other ingredient options. Stroll through the Takeshita district of Harajuku and surround yourself with fascinating shops and the latest fashion trends. Harajuku is especially known for its more eccentric fashions, but cute and conventional items can be purchased here as well. Not in the mood for shopping? Not to worry – Harajuku also is a great place for people watching! Then visit Omotesando Avenue, a sloping tree-lined boulevard in Tokyo's fashionable Aoyama district that goes through parts of both Shibuya and Minato wards.

Tokyo (Asakusa Sensoji Temple & Nakamise Street / Tokyo SkyTree / Imperial Palace East Garden)

In the morning, you will be taken to Asakusa Kannon Temple, an active place of worship where you can see the largest paper lantern in Japan. You will also be able to explore the Nakamise Market, which is located right after the temple's outer gates. This is a traditional-style shopping street with several centuries of history. Then experience panoramic views of the city at 350 meters high from the Tokyo Skytree. These are the highest observation decks in Japan, and the tower is one of the tallest structures in the world. Next, we will go to the Imperial Palace and see the beautiful East Garden. This is the current residence of Japan’s Imperial Family and a historic landmark. Finally, savor a delicious yakitori dinner.

Mt Fuji (5th Station - Depending on the weather condition), Hakone (Hakone Ropeway / Owakudani)

If the weather is in our favor, we will travel to Mt. Fuji’s 5th station, the most popular and convenient spot to enjoy views of the iconic mountain. We will take a 20- minute ropeway ride from Togendai to Owakudani. Along the ropeway, weather permitting, there will be great views of Mt. Fuji in the distance. At night, enjoy the onsen hot spring at your Ryokon, and a traditional Japanese kaiseki dinner.

First Class Bullet Train to Osaka, Osaka (Osaka Castle), Nara (Todaiji Temple / Nara Deer Park)

After breakfast, transfer to Odawara Station and board the bullet train to Osaka (Green car train tickets included). After you arrive, visit Osaka Castle, which was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in aiming for it to be the center of a new, unified Japan. Then, we will travel to Nara and visit one of Japan’s most famous temples and a landmark of Nara, Todaiji Temple. Outside the temple, interact with the wild deer of Nara Deer Park. There are special deer crackers available at every corner of the area. After, we will transfer you to your hotel in Kyoto.

Kyoto (Golden Pavilion / Arashiyama - Tenryuji Temple & Garden - Bamboo Grove - Togetsukyo Bridge / GEAR Theatre)

In the morning, visit Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, so known because it is covered with 18-karat gold leaf. This three-story structure was originally built by the Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in 1397. Then we will tour the Arashiyama district. First is a visit to see Tenryuji Temple where you can catch a glimpse of the traditional rock landscape garden design. Then proceed through a dense bamboo grove, past several small shrines, tea shops and private houses before arriving at the Togetsukyo Bridge over Hozu River. Enjoy a healthy Tofu lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon of leisure time to explore Kyoto, or visit the Kyoto Imperial Palace with your guide. At night, prepare for a silent spectacle unlike anything you've ever seen. At the GEAR Theater live show, 5 human performers play "robots" who come to life and learn through creative playfulness and skill how they might approach humanity. GEAR uses only silent motion – dance, performance art, and stage magic – to delight audiences of any age and language.

Kyoto (Fushimi Inari Shrine / Kiyomizu Temple / Kimono Wearing Experience / Kodaiji Temple - Zen Meditation & Green Tea Ceremony / Gion Geisha District - Kyoto Kaiseki Dinner with Geisha Performance)

First, we will see the Fushimi Inari Shrine, renowned for its trail of thousands of torii gates. Then we will tour Kiyomizu-dera, a famous temple in Japan that is best known for its large wooden stage that overlooks a hillside of natural scenery. Continue our day by wearing the traditional clothing of Japan, Kimono, which are still widely popular to wear for important and formal events. It is also common to don the Kimono when visiting Kyoto to further enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the city. Then, we will travel to Kodaiji Temple, which is a lavish temple built in the memory of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Here, we can experience Zen meditation and a Green Tea Ceremony. We will end our day in the Gion Geisha District, where its streets are lined with ochaya (teahouses), exclusive establishments where guests are entertained by Geisha and Maiko. Here, we will enjoy traditional Kyoto Cuisine accompanied by a special Geisha performance.
