Otaku needs while traveling in style and comfort.
Explore some of the most popular anime spots
throughout the country that started it all! With lush
accommodation each night, including two nights at a
Japanese-style Inn, and a knowledgeable guide
throughout your tour, All Japan Tours can arrange your
Otaku dream vacation.
Follow your guide through Tokyo’s cultural landmarks,
fashionable neighborhoods, and diverse shopping
districts. Visit the popular Studio Ghibli Museum,
Asakusa Sensoji Temple, and Akihabara during your
three days in Tokyo. Guests will also enjoy a manga
design lesson and dine at fun, quirky restaurants such
as Ninja Restaurant Akasaka. Spend some time in
Hakone and at Mt. Fuji, taking in the stunning sights
from aboard a pirate ship cruise around Lake Ashi. With
Hakone being featured in Evangelion, guests can also
find specialty Evangelion shops for exclusive goods.
Stay overnight in a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn),
where guests can unwind in the hot springs (onsen) and
dine on gourmet kaiseki cuisine. Take a ride on the high-
speed bullet train as you transfer to the ancient city of
Kyoto, where you will spend the next few nights. During
the journey to Kyoto, stop in Nagoya to visit the Iga
Ninja Museum, known for their ninja museum and ninja
school. Guests can explore the museum, which contains
trap doors, hidden compartments, and a ninja show.
While in Kyoto, take a day trip to the nearby city of Nara,
home to the renowned Todaiji Temple. The beautifully
designed temple sits in Nara Park, where hundreds of
wild deer roam free. The next day will be dedicated to
Osaka as guests visit Osaka Castle, Tsutenkaku Tower,
and Den Den Town, a popular shopping area known for
its video games, anime, and manga goods. Before
traveling back to Kyoto, stop by Dotonbori to try Osaka
street food. Once back in Kyoto, the next two days are
spent exploring the city in depth. Visit the famous
Fushimi Inari Shrine, Golden Pavillion, and walk through
a bamboo forest. At the Samurai and Ninja Museum,
learn the history of both samurai and ninja before
enjoying the chance to try on samurai armour or
learning how to throw ninja stars. At Kiyomizu Temple,
try on a kimono before visiting Kodaiji Temple, where
guests will experience the relaxing effects of zen
meditation and participate in a green tea ceremony.
Enjoy your last night on the tour at the Gion Geisha
District, savoring traditional Kyoto cuisine and watchinga
a geisha performance.
