Enjoy a guided tour through the popular cities of Sapporo, Otaru, and Noboribetsu, while enjoying a few days in Niseko to ski, sled, or even ride a snow mobile. Upon arrival, visit Shikotsu's annual ice festival before visiting Jigokudani Hell Valley which displays hot steam vents and sulfurous streams. Enjoy your day in Noboribetsu while wearing snowshoes and explore the city on your own. There are also optional crafting activities that guests can enjoy. Ride on the Mt. Day 1

Welcome to Sapporo

Welcome to Sapporo!
Meet your tour guide in the airport's arrival hall and travel to the Lake Shikotsu.
Enjoy Shikotsu's annual ice festival, with stunning ice sculptures as they line the lake's shore and provide a fantastic ice adventure. After enjoying the festival, visit Noboribetsu, where guests can find Jigokudani Hell Valley, located above the town of Noboribetsu Onsen, and displays hot steam vents and sulfurous streams.

Day 2

Noboribetsu (Snow Shoeing / Optional: Try Ainu Embroidery / Optional: Visit a Wood Carving Artist / Optional: Indigo Dyeing Experience)

Today, enjoy venturing around Noboribetsu while wearing snowshoes, a popular activity for guests! Enjoy exploring the city on your own, which offers several hot spring baths and serene nature, or enjoy some optional activities today, which include trying Ainu Embroidery, visiting with a wood carving artist, or an indigo dyeing experience.

Day 3

Lake Toya (Mt.Usu Ropeway / Volcano Museum / Silo Obervatory / Lake Hill Farm Ice Cream Shop)

This morning, we will enjoy a ride on the Mt. Usu Ropeway, which brings us up close to Mount Usu's summit. This volcano has erupted four times in the past 100 years with the most recent eruption being in the year 2000. Enjoy learning about this volcano at the Volcano Museum before heading to the Silo Observatory to catch stunning panoramic views of Lake Toya. We will finish our day with dessert at the Lake Hill Farm, which serves 20 different varieties of homeade gelato.

Niseko (Enjoy Skiing, Snow activities etc)

Start your morning with breakfast before exploring Niseko, one of japan's most popular places for skiing. Day 7

Otaru (Tanaka Sake Brewery / Le Tao Cheesecake Factory / Sakaimachi Street - Glass Workshops & Music Box Museum / Otaru Canal / Otaru Sushi District )

Travel to Otaru, an important part of Hokkaido where goods were loaded into the warehouses lining the Otaru canal. Visit the Tanaka Sake Brewery, where we will learn about how sake is made, before visiting the popular LeTao Cheesecake Factory. Guests can purchase melt-in-your-mouth cakes or enjoy a warm cup of tea before traveling to the city's center, Sakaimachi Street. While here, we will visit one of Otaru's glass workshops and the Otaru Music Box Museum, where we can find unique music boxes, ornaments, and more. Spend some time exploring the shops lining the canal before visiting the Otaru Sushi District, where guests can purchase fresh sushi from one of the many shops.

Day 8

Sapporo (Nijo Market / Historic Village of Hokkaido / Sapporo Beer Museum / Hokkaido Shrine)

We will start our day by visiting Nijo Market in Sapporo, where guests can buy the freshest seafood and fruits in Japan. Afterwards, visit Sapporo's Historic Village, an open-air museum exhibiting Hokkaido's development during the Meiji Era, which includes a town, fishing village, farm village and a mountain village. We will then stop at the Sapporo Beer Museum, which shows the history and process of making Sapporo Beer, which has been brewed in Sapporo since 1877. Enjoy a tasting at the beer garden before visiting the Hokkaido Shrine, a stunning site that is said to be the resting place of four deities.

Day 9

Saporo (Enjoy the Sapporo Snow Festival)

Today, we will spend our day enjoying the nearby Sapporo Snow Festival. This festival was started in 1950, when high schoolers built several statues in Odori Park using the snow. It has since then become the most popular snow event in Japan, attracting over two million visitors from around the world. Enjoy the three sites of this festival: Odori Site, Susukino Site and Tsudome Site. Odori site contains the larger snow sculptures as well as several smaller ones throughout the streets. Susukino Site is located in Sapporo's popular entertainment district, offering stunning sculptures and a fun environment. Tsudome Site is also a fun place to visit, as there are snow slides, snow rafting, and other fun attractions.

Tour Ends

Even your last day can be enjoyed to the fullest! Go shopping in downtown Sapporo, or stop by one of the popular outlet malls on the way to the airport. Lots of seafood and Hokkaido specialties are available at the recently revamped Chitose Airport, which is actually an impressive destination on its own.
