I chose this tour as it aligned with the places I was interested to visit. Unfortunately, though, there were many factors that contributed to spoiling this 'costly' holiday. The leading tour guide Barbara was very inexperienced and her English was so poor that It was almost impossible to understand her. Both Barbara and the other tour guides that eventually took over did not guide us to any of the sites, just gave us some information (Barbara's were absolutely indecipherable) while on the bus, but left us to self-guide at every site. Despite communicating our concern and disappointment to the main office by email, no satisfactory solution was put in place. I would definitely not recommend this company.

The tour was great and well organized. The guide Billy and driver Nagato-San made all the difference. I haven’t seen a more conscientious guide than Billy. The tour gave a good flavor of different areas of Japan (I believe 19 prefectures?). We got the fully Cherry Blossom experience as well as the sites, food and culture!!! The communication was clear and concise.

This tour covered a lot of places and was directed by Billy the tour guide, who was excellent. He provided vast information about the places we would visit and about Japan's culture and traditions. He made sure that we were on time for all activities, and he was always present for any questions or suggestions. Billy is a professional that provides 100% customer satisfaction and he is a true asset to All Japan Tours. Congratulations on a well done journey through Japan.

The best tour we have been on so far! It started with the pre-trip preparation from the Ontario office. Ms Yuki Takenaka was professional, prompt, and helpful with our family's specific needs and requests. Our guide Billy was the best part. He was very knowledgeable, punctual, professional, and courteous throughout. You can tell he always strived to make the tour perfect for everyone. The hotels were all very nice and clean. The included meals were plentiful and all well arranged. Sometimes the itinerary seemed rush but in retrospect that allowed us to cover more sites. We highly recommend this particular tour and this tour company. We love Billy!!!!

Awesome, amazing , perfect, everything i could have hoped for. Itinerary was great. We got to see a the things we wanted to see. Hotels were great. The tour guide Kim Kida- she was amazing , energetic, helpful, always smiling, knowledgeable. She is what really really made the trip.

This was a brilliant tour. Miharu, our guide was super. She was well prepared, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. It was a full on tour and a fair bit of walking and steps so not ideal for those with a disability. We got to see an awful lot and it was a beautiful time of the year to see Japan in the snow. Highly recommended!!

We wanted to travel to Japan for our honeymoon and were originally only looking into guided tours due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions. We ended up choosing All Japan Tours even after these restrictions were lifted, and couldn't be happier that we did! The convenience of having transportation, hotels, and activities planned out and booked for us was worth the price of the tour, but what really gave this tour its value was our guide, Miharu. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. We loved her sense of humor and her stories helped us to appreciate the richness of Japanese history and culture. She will sometimes joke about her English not being the best, but we found her to be very witty, intelligent, and easy to understand. Some of our favorite things we did include seeing the snow monkeys, meeting a maiko, and exploring the smaller towns like Takayama and Kurashiki. We wished we could have spent more time in some places, but never felt rushed. The bus drivers were also friendly and professional. Of note, there is a lot of walking on this tour that might not be suitable for some travelers. In the case of some of the shrines, like Fushimi Inari and Kotohira-gu, there are many steps to climb, but there is always the option to shop or explore on your own while the rest of the group hikes up. At the ryokan (traditional inn) you will sleep on a futon on the floor. We loved it, but can see how some people might not prefer this. There is also a lot of traditional Japanese food included on the tour, some of which might not be appealing to Westerners. We didn't like everything we ate, but we were happy to get to try it and never went hungry. All Japan Tours went out of their way to accommodate my wife's rare seaweed allergy as well, which really impressed us. Just let them know ahead of time if you have any limitations and they are sure to find a way to help. Overall, we would recommend Miharu and All Japan Tours to anyone interested in a thorough Japan experience. We had a great time and learned a lot. We hope to visit Hokkaido next time!

Excellent tour. Eveything was very well planned out and allowed me and my brother see so much of Japan. Extremely happy overall. Billy and our bus driver did a superb job! I al looking forward to telling others about this trip and hopefully after a bit of rest I can come to another AJT trip.

Our tour guide Katsume Meharu and the tour driver Mr. Hirakawa were awesome. Ms Meharu was a wealth of knowledge, great sense of humor, patient and generous. Mr. Hirakawa was humble and patient.
