Naoshima Island is situated in the Seto Inland Sea as part of Kagawa Prefecture. This scenic resort area is better known as art Island, featuring a wide variety of modern art museums and architectural housing projects for visitors to explore. While visitors arrive at the Miyanoura Port of Naoshima, guests are immediately welcomed by the “Red Pumpkin”, a symbol of Naoshima by Yayoi Kusama. A yellow version of the pumpkin is also available at the pier facing the Benesse House.
